A long song, and maybe overplayed, but i couldn't resist. The short radio version doesn't do it justice. I am not a big organ fan, but i must say that re-examining Rod Argents solo on this song gave me new respect for his talent. I wonder if he and Jon Lord were friends? I hope so. Russ Ballard's guitar. vocals, and songwriting can't be ignored either. Love his tone on this song. Argent. I love the name.] Set: Beavo Mention - Turns Out He/She Does Like Me! It was written by Rick Neilson. So embarrassing! Hope I remember to retract next week. If I don't. Remind me on the Accu. Set: Fort Wayne - A mini-musical by C. Pigeon The Legal Set: WOWO and KAAY Menchunz. Thanks for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show. It was kind of off the cuff. I had intended to have some interviews but had my first problem with battery loss regarding the digital unit. It really holds a charge well, usually. Days and days and days of uninterrupted service. But on this day ... nothing. Two interviews were lost. Sorry about that to the guys who took the time. One runs a music space on 27th called Loft 227. Check that out. The other guy was a country music fan who appreciated rock and the idea o Rocktober, which I certainly hope you do, too! The callers were very nice and that was so good to hear. I am always amazed by the intelligence and sensitivity of the FMU listener. We're all lucky. Even you! Hope you liked the mini-musical. Important that you know I love Fort Wayne. I've never been there, but the thought of it looms large somehow, always has. I wrestle with the voices on those musicals. Mostly EQ issues. They sound muddy to me. You should know that that whole piece was recorded on a skinny little crappy white cell phone mic. So, it sounds pretty good in that sense. I never aim for lo-fi. Ijust am, I guess. Mid-Fi is what I aspire to; that and keeping you tuned in each week. I really have to scrabble for the time to do the show. I miss the langorous days I used to spend on it, but I have to work. Ugh. I just wanna make Dusties! Peace dear person, and happiness. Always Remember ... Jeff Buckley http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/57542
