How young should children be when they start to learn about money?

A new book by Ron Lieber, a financial columnist on the New York Times, has a perhaps surprising answer: five. Instead of keeping kids in the dark, he argues, conversations about money will help teach them "all the good values we want to implant into their brains before we shove them out into the world".
