Both sides in the dispute over pay at Metrolink have their say ahead of next week's planned 24 hour strike

Metrolink workers are set to go on strike next week... Strike is a 24 hour strike planned for next Wednesday. We're talking about drivers, electricians, and customer services stafr who are members of the Unite union. The union says the action could bring the tram network to a halt but Transport for Greater Manchester says it will try to minimise the impact of the strike on passengers. It's all to do with a dispute about pay ... Those who are going on strike have refused a proposed 2 year pay deal totalling 3 and half per cent. Phil Trow spoke to both side of the disagreement.
