“Completely unexpected”: That was the reaction to last night’s news from the Global Dairy Trade Auction which saw prices on the rise. From butter going up by 6% to Skim Milk Powder up by 19%, the figures have given our dairy farmers a glimmer of light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel.
