'GET A LIFE. BIN THAT KNIFE' – New 'Knife Bin' in Birmingham (21/01/15)

A new 'Knife Bin' has been unveiled in #Aston, #Birmingham, allowing people to surrender their knives and other weapons anonymously.
It's part of a scheme run by the charity 'Word 4 Weapons' (http://www.word4weapons.co.uk/), which tackles knife and gun crime across the country.
Representatives of various charities, community groups and the police attended the ceremony. Mitch Mansfield was also there to see them cut the ribbon.
