Now, just before Christmas we got a call from angry residents in the County Londonderry village of Knockloughrim who were fed up having to circumnavigate a burst pipe that is gushing out water on a daily basis. At that time, there had been a mini river on the main road for up to six weeks... Their hopes were raised after 'men at work' signs were erected - but it appeared no actual men at work had turned up.
