Sing Something Simple

You’ll either love or loathe this. Perhaps it conjours up nostalgic memories sitting in front of the wireless enjoying the pleasant sounds of the Cliff Adams Singers. Or perhaps it’s one of the dreariest shows you’ve ever heard, when you caught the tail end of it on a Sunday afternoon with your fingers poised on REC+Pause in anticipation of the BBC chart show.
Either way you’ve got to admire the longevity of Sing Something Simple with a 42-year run between 1959 and 2001. Cue the accordion….
