Fundraising for Matthew

In December we heard from the Kirk family who are desperately trying to raise money for their 10 year old son Matthew, who was diagnosed in October with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare type of cancer. Matthew will need to fly to Oklahoma to receive Proton Beam Therapy which is not yet available in the UK, but for Matthew’s type of cancer and its position, it is the best radiotherapy for him. Phil Maiden interviewed the family in December 2014, as they explained why this treatment is so important for their son and how their fundraising campaign is crucial for Matthew's treatment.
