Children Talking - The Nativity
Harold Williamson’s conversation with children were always a delight to hear for their honesty and innocence. Starting on the Home Service in the early 1960s the series Children Talking was picked up by BBC TV later in the decade. Williamson became a reporter for Man Alive and continued to make intelligent and sensitive documentaries for the BBC in the 70s and 80s.
In this clip you’ll hear Durham County born Williamson talking to children from Sunderland about their Nativity plays.
