Trumpet and flugelhorn player Marquis Hill talks to Ruth Fisher

Brilliant young American horn player Marquis Hill has just released his 4th album 'Modern Flows E.P Vol 1' and has been receiving much attention for it from Jazz FM. Marquis took time out to talk with Ruth Fisher about his concept for the album, born from a love of hip hop, his connection to the Chicago free jazz scene and his recent triumph at the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute International Trumpet Competition.
