We talk to the man in charge of ensuring that more than $100bn of US taxpayers' money is being properly spent in war-torn Afghanistan. John Sopko, the US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, tells us the aid is not being wisely used. "We have accomplished a lot but we could have accomplished a lot more", he says. "We have wasted a lot of taxpayer money, probably negatively impacted the Afghan economy because we distorted it and we have been partners in the dramatic rise in corruption in Afghanistan", he adds.
