NHS Grampian Acting Chief Exec Apologises After Reports Demand Urgent Action On Patient Care

Interim Chief Executive Malcolm Wright has accepted the recommendations of three reports calling for urgent action at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Healthcare Improvement Scotland say leadership, governance, culture and inappropriate behaviour of staff are impacting the quality of service at ARI. A seperate review by the Royal College of Surgeons has also called for a shake up of surgical teams after they found a number of senior consultants were unable to work together productively.
