trying to explain why we don't like the new audioBoom app, and some suggestions on how to fix it

It is probably quite fair to say that version four of this app has not received a very popular response, but it hasn't always been very clear exactly why we don't like it. In this post, I seek to explain exactly why it is we don't like it, and give suggestions to the developers as to how we might get back the functionality we want, while retaining the new features and abilities to discover content more easily.
