Chris Philips talks with trumpeter Theo Croker ahead of a clutch of appearances at EFG London Jazz Festival

Brilliant young trumpeter Theo Croker has picked up so many plaudits in the UK since Jazz FM have extensively featured his new album 'AfroPhysicist'. It was produced by legendary jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater who features on a number of songs. Theo writes superb arrangements and his young band 'Dvrk Funk' backs Dee Dee on tour. They clearly impressed a packed Ronnie Scott's on the festival opening night and with Dee Dee at Queen Elizabeth Hall the following night. Here is Theo recounting his rise and work with Dee Dee talking with Chris Philips live on air.
