Pianist Robert Mitchell spoke to Chris Philips about his ambitious music project 'Invocation' for EFG London Jazz Festival

Award winning pianist, composer and arranger Robert Mitchell granted Chris Philips an exclusive insight into his challenging and immense new music project 'Invocation' which gets its full debut at the EFG London Jazz Festival, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London on Sunday November 23rd.

Robert and his band have been working with the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus and two choirs on a suite of compositions. The result is remarkable. Listen here to two snippets and Robert explaining the origins of the project.
