Are we a bunch of litter louts here? New research shows that there are almost 3,500 pieces of litter on each kilometre of Northern Ireland's beaches. More than 75% of those pieces are plastic that could easily be recycled and most of the litter comes from people dropping litter on land, potentially miles from the coast.
