More waiting list misery. Last week the Nolan Show revealed that an extra 4,500 people are being added to hospital waiting lists every month. That's because the use of the private sector to clear lists was stopped by the department of Health. This morning we can reveal the growing problem this is adding to. The Belfast Trust has told us patients needing spinal surgery will have to wait a year. The target is 26 weeks. Tara has been speaking to one woman who is in daily agony with a bad back. Genevieve Davidson is a mother of three and is desperate for an operation.
