Despite being a recognised and valued emergency service, UK Air Ambulances rely on charitable donations, to keep their helicopters flying and helping to save lives. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has plans to add a second aircraft to its hangar, as Sherie Williams Ellen tells Graham Freer.
