Students’ Halloween costumes causes controversy over blackened faces

The University of Ulster Students' Union's Magee campus has "unreservedly" apologised on their Fcaebook page for any offence caused by photographs of students with blackened faces at their Hallowe'en Ball event at the weekend.

The offending picture was off a group of girls dressed up as the Jaimaican characters in "Cool Runnings".

What do you think - deeply offensive and no place in modern day Northern Ireland or political correctness gone mad?
