If you thought Northern ireland's budget woes were bad, it seems they're about to get a whole lot worse. Yesterday Finance Minister Simon Hamilton proposed savings of 872 million pounds in his draft budget paper for next year. If the budget is passed the Department of Culture, department of Employment, and department of Environment will lose out massively. Each is facing huge reductions of almost 13%. The Department of Health and the Department of Enterprise will get more money. But that might not last for too long. On yesterday's show former DUP finance Minister Sammy Wilson suggested that the department of Health shouldn't be protected. Stephen gets the views of Sinn Fein MP Conor Murphy and DUP MP Sammy Wilson
