Work Begins On Controversial Marischal Square Project
Work on the controversial Marishcal Square project in Aberdeen will begin by the end of the year, after plans were approved by council yesterday.
Councillors voted 23-18 in favour of the 107 million pound plan for a hotel, shops and offices during a full Aberdeen City Council meeting yesterday.
The project has gained opposition throughout the process, with more than 1 thousand 300 people signing a petition against it.
