Recapping the Vuelta a Espana

Daniel Friebe travelled to Spain to witness the final few days of the Vuelta a Espana, which was won by Alberto Contador despite a spirited challenge from Sky's Chris Froome.

Before we hear Daniel's despatch, Richard Moore and Lionel Birnie discuss the conclusion of the final grand tour of the season and weigh up the Contador versus Froome battle.

Then we hear from Daniel, who has interviewed Garmin-Sharp's David Millar, who was reaching the end of the final grand tour of his long career, Team Sky's boss Sir Dave Brailsford, up-and-coming French climber Warren Barguil and Ireland's Daniel Martin, who reveals that the Vuelta has given him the perfect base for a crack at the World Championships.
