"A Number Of Shots" Fired At Moredun Home

Police have spoken to Forth News about a "very dangerous and reckless" shooting that happened in Edinburgh this morning. No one was hurt when a gun was fired at a Moredun house on Fernieside Avenue before 1am. Detective Inspector Alan O'Brien, who's leading the investigation into this incident, wants witnesses to come forward. He told Forth News: "This was a very dangerous and reckless incident which could have had an entirely different outcome, and it is essential we find out who did this as soon as possible. "I am appealing to anyone who has knowledge about this incident whatsoever to contact Police Scotland on 101 or pass the information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
