The Tour of Britain kicks off

In the latest Telegraph Cycling podcast Richard Moore and Lionel Birnie are joined by Orla Chennaoui of Sky Sports News as they report from the Tour of Britain in Liverpool and discuss the Vuelta a España.

There are interviews with Marcel Kittel, the winner of stage one of the Tour of Britain, Steve Cummings, Roger Hammond, Team Sky head of performance Rod Ellingworth and young British star, Tao Geoghegan Hart. 

Sir Bradley Wiggins has said that this Tour of Britain could be the last stage race he rides to win, so we look at what he might do next. Having said he will stay with Team Sky, there is speculation that he could head a new development team sponsored by Sky co-sponsor 21st Century Fox – only a rumour, but an intriguing one given that Wiggins wants to spend his final two seasons targeting the track and one-day classics like Paris-Roubaix.
