Sudan government responds to human rights allegations

There are allegations that large numbers of protesters in Sudan have been tortured, injured and killed over the last two years. Amnesty International and the Sudanese rights organisation - the African Centre for Justice and Peace Studies - say security forces committed these abuses with impunity.
