Stormont stalemate blamed for looming bus strike
Bus workers have said they have run out of road after pay talks with Translink collapsed - and will now be "forced" to take strike action. An initial offer of a one per cent pay rise was turned down, but now that offer has been withdrawn anyway because of budget cuts. Unite - the union representing the bus workers - has said it will be the travelling public who will now pay the price for what they call "Stormont party-political brinkmanship".
