Is there such a thing as a selfless act? An act of sacrifice you do not for yourself but for someone else?

If you're in Bewdley this week, you could find yourself experiencing a 'random act of kindness', courtesy of a local church.

Members of the Elim Riverside Church in the town are out handing out bunches of flowers, chocolates, paying for peoples coffees and washing cars, all in the name of kindness.

But is it truly a selfless act if you feel good about doing it?
