Radio Durham answerphone

Years ago, there was a lot of intervention in phone calls. Often a Post Office/GO (as British Telecom was back then) operator would plug you in to the desired number on your request. But when the call is then answered by a new fangled answerphone, then the confusion begins for this chap seeking to leave some sports results for the new and short-lived BBC Radio Durham.
