On the Waterfront (in #stereo)

On the western end of Lake superior, is the port city of Duluth, Minnesota. Edits waterfront, is a park called Canal Park. once an area of docs and warehouses, today it has been transformed into a tourist and recreation area. A boardwalk parallels the shoreline and beyond it, a string of hotels. The warehouses have been transformed into restaurants and shops. I recorded this boo in a couple locations. The first one was at the waters edge. There, I stuck my feet into the icy waters. The second location was at the south end of the ship canal. Automobile traffic on the Ariel Lift Bridge, a landmark in Duluth, can be heard. This is followed by an announcement, alarms and buzzers indicating the bridge is about to lift. The recording was done in #stereo, using #binaural mikes.
