Over the past few days we've mentioned the word Abenomics quite a lot. The grand strategic plan Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe is being credited with to try to revive the Japanese economy. One of the key planks of Abenomics….is Womenomics.

Shinzo Abe wants to get more women into the Japanese workforce - and more women in senior management. Female participation in the workforce in Japan is around 63%. That's much lower than other wealthy nations.

Japan with its rapidly dwindling population needs new workers. So the aim is to get eight million Japanese women into work, which according to Goldman Sachs, the investment bank, could boost Japan's GDP by as much as 15%.

But not everyone's convinced...including the charismatic female president of BT Japan, Haruno Yoshida.
