Is it time to pull the curtain down on Stormont talks about the past, flags and parades? Attempts to strike a deal are continuing despite the failure of the Haass talks over Christmas. But now UUP leader Mike Nesbitt claims the current process is going nowhere. He's suggesting a different approach where the focus is put on contentious parades with the past and flags parked until after the marching season. And parades are back in the headlines today. The parades commission will decide later whether the controversial north Belfast parade stalled at twadell can finish before this year's twelfth.
