How much is it worth to have a celebrity born on your doorstep? Dylan Thomas’s poems are amongst the most famous ever written, and events are taking place around the world this year to mark the centenary of his birth. His poems have a deep sense of place and they often refer to Wales – his place of birth.

The BBC’s Mark Whittaker looks at whether the country’s premier poet can yet become the principality’s biggest assets. He visits the poet's home in Wales and speaks to Geoff Hayden who has worked to restore the building to what he thinks would be its original setting.

He also talks to Dylan Thomas's granddaughter about her memories of the poet and how Wales can use her grandfather's legacy to attract more visitors.
