Turkey Lifts Youtube Ban

Turkey's Prime Minister has been a sharp critic of social media during his tenure - one of the many battlegrounds that have marked his decade long leadership. But now the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan has faced a defeat in its attempts to control communications in Turkey - being told by the country's highest court that it must lift a ban on the video-sharing website YouTube. Cagil Kasapoglu has been following the story for the BBC's Turkish service - I asked her what had prompted the ban back in March of this year.
