The abduction of school girls in Nigeria may have brought back memories of a similar experience .. Back in the nineties, Uganda shot into the limelight when about 140 school girls were abducted by the notorious rebel Lord's Resistance Army - led by Joseph Kony. The girls were taken from their school in the northern Apac district. So what is it like living in captivity with armed men?

The BBC's Patience Atuhaire has been to the area to speak to Victoria Nyanjura and Angela Atim who spent 8 years in captivity with the rebels.
