NEWS: City Council Set For New Leader

Aberdeen City Council's set to have a new leader.

Councillor Jenny Laing has replaced Barney Crockett as the person in charge of the Labour group leading the administration.

The decision was made at the party's AGM last night - with Cllr Laing expected to be confirmed as the city council's leader at a meeting tomorrow.

We're waiting to hear from Councillor Crockett himself, though Labour say he's staying with the party.
