Obamacare - a success story?

It was a case of bad start, good finish for the healthcare reforms which have come to be known as Obamacare.

Last October, the critical vultures were circling after the disastrous, bug-ridden roll-out of a government website Americans were supposed to use to sign up to new insurance plans.

The problems were eventually fixed though and this week, President Obama celebrated the fact that he'd beaten his target and more than 7 million people had signed up for coverage.

The American economist Irwin Stelzer at the Hudson Institute in Washington discusses whether he considered that a success.
