Throughout my early monastic nursing career I came across so many colleagues who were convinced that God had called them into nursing when the opposite was true. Many were influenced not by God's will for them but more about how much money they could take home and spend. Maybe that is why such a person was unfulfilled in their career path and sadly for their patients, they sensed their mind was not on their physical needs but more on their career.
