There are those who believe all life is sacred and that cloning any life form is therefore wrong.

It's a widespread view that's slammed the brakes on research into cloning in many parts of the world.

But not in China.

Its scientific expertise is catching up with its rapidly growing economic power - and spawning companies like BGI, which isn't just the world's largest genomics organisation but also the world's largest centre for the cloning of pigs.

The BBC's science editor David Shukman visited the Chinese company. He speaks to Manuela Saragosa on Business Matters.
