The two-time winner of the prestigious William Hill Sports Book of the Year award about 'Immortal', his new approved biography of George Best. Hamilton's book on Brian Clough was superb, while his biography of the outstanding fast bowler Harold Larwood, the main protagonist in the controversial 'Bodyline' series between Australia and England in 1932-33, also won awards. Having spent three years researching Immortal, during which he spoke to hundreds of people closest to Best and went through 5,000 cuttings, Hamilton offers rare insight into the Belfast Boy.
