Billy Connolly has been diagnosed with Parkinson's.

There's no cure for the degenerative disease which affects the nervous system.

His spokesman says it's in the early stages.

The comedian and actor has also undergone minor surgery for prostate cancer, but he's understood to have been given the all clear.
