Frost on the Radio

He was a creature of TV. In the vanguard of the 60s satire boom with TW3 and The Frost Report (would Python and The Two Ronnies have existed without him?), through to the hard-hitting political interviews, the famous five of TV-AM and yes, even Through the Keyhole. There were occasional forays into radio though such as the Light Programme show David Frost at the Phonograph, deputising for the holidaying Jimmy Young (“the DF prog”), compere for five series of the comedy panel game Pull the Other One and, just last year, David Frost’s Hollywood Greats.
