Patrick Reed produced the shot of his life to set up a tournament-winning birdie and seal his first win on the PGA Tour in the Wyndham Championship on Sunday evening, beating Jordan Spieth in a play-off.

His win vaulted him into 22nd place in the FedEx Cup race and there will be more jostling for position as the play-offs begin this week with The Barclays. This is the first of four big-money tournaments heading to the PGA Tour's season denoument, the Tour Championship at East Lake.
