Frances Nolan of Parades Commission on the latest north Belfast determination
Yesterday, as expected, the Parades Commission refused the Orange Order permission to walk past the shops there. The Orange Order expressed disappointment, although it could hardly have been surprised, and took the opportunity to have another swipe at the Commission, describing the decision as a further indictment of an already discredited body. William spoke to one of those who made that decision, Frances Nolan is a former police officer here, her family is also steeped in the Orange tradition.
