Senior Orangeman Mervyn Gibson says the Parades Commission is an "irrelevance"

Blast bombs and petrol bombs thrown, a pipe bomb attack, water cannon and plastic baton rounds fired. Another night of violence on our streets, A fourth night. In east Belfast, north Belfast, and south Belfast. And outside Belfast as well - in areas like Newtownabbey and Portadown. Police remain in the firing line - 71 officers have been injured since the trouble began at the end of last week. The PSNI also say there have been 60 arrests, with 32 people charged so far. The Orange Order has been under fire since the trouble broke out last week. Mervyn Gibson is the official spokesperson for the Orange Order in Belfast and he spoke to Stephen about the weekend's events.
