The effect of climate change on crops over the past few years has been very dramatic. Although crops tend to grow faster in warmer conditions, warmer temperatures can also reduce crop yields (a yield is the amount of crop produced for a given amount of land). With crops such as grains, faster growth reduces the amount of time that the seeds have to grow and mature. There are currently many problems with the growth of crops all over the world.
