Power NI price hike of nearly 18% #BBCnolan

A massive shock for households this morning as electricity prices are set to be increased by nearly 18 percent. Power NI, one of Northern Ireland's biggest energy companies, says it's increasing prices at the start of July. They've blamed significant increases in the costs of purchasing wholesale electricity for the hike.
