Alan Freeman - 1985 David Lloyd Interview
It's amazing what one finds at the tail end of an old 10.5 inch reel-to-reel spool. Witness here an interview I did in my younger days with Alan Freeman. I blush now listening to this as I imply his career amounts to naff ad VOs and deputising for Kid Kensen.
This was 1987, in his Capital days. Fluff was promoting a new oldies compilation album; and that was an excuse for me to talk radio with him, once I'd got the compulsory bit out the way.
He speaks about the, erm, hesitation, about 'pop pickers', and about 'where do you go from here?'.
