Health chiefs are facing growing controversy over closure plans for residential care homes.

The Western Health Trust is expected to reveal home closure proposals at a meeting tomorrow. It's stressing that no decision has been taken, but speculation is rife that four care homes in its area will be earmarked for shutdown.

The issue will be on the agenda of the Assembly Health Committee today. And committee chair Sue Ramsey is also today meeting trade union officials, who are voicing anger at the situation. #bbcnolan
