Alliance MLA Stewart Dickson reacts to the First Minister's police criticism

First Minister Peter Robinson said yesterday that the PSNI need to "regain the confidence of that section of the unionist community who have lost confidence in the police".

After meeting Chief Constable Matt Baggott, Peter Robinson claimed a large section of the community do not believe the PSNI were being impartial. He also claimed there was a belief courts were treating the two sides differently with leading republicans getting bail in contrast to loyalists.

Alliance MLA Stewart Dickson says the First Minister's criticism of the police has 'no credibility' and that the First and Deputy First Minister should be leading ALL of the community.
