Vulnerable!

I don’t always do vulnerable very well especially in one to one conversations. Often, I’ll revert to my default ‘bravado’ position which completely mis-represents me. When I really should be saying ‘I’m feeling a bit nervous’, I find myself saying that I expect I’d be not just brilliant but spectacular at it.

Almost immediately, I lament the error. It gives a wrong impression of who I really am. Afterwards, I wish I’d been brave enough to be honest and vulnerable. That’s said, I’m getting braver all the time.
